What are typical timelines and do you work with us until the job is completed?
It’s important to keep the momentum going once you start planning for a decorating or renovation project. There are many moving parts, often with numerous people involved working to strict schedules and tight deadlines.
Once we begin working with you on your project, we like to set up an outlined scope of work for tasks that you specifically need our help with. From there we can establish estimated hours for these design services.
Depending on the scope of work and how much involvement you wish for us to have, we can work with you, side by side until the very end of the project. Alternatively, we can be there for an agreed upon block of hours for design services that you are comfortable investing in for our expertise and then take the project to the finish line on your own.
How much money should we set aside for the investment of your services?
Services start with a minimum block of 20 hours billed at $125/hr + taxes. Please note that our initial consultations are billed separately and not included in this fee.
A 50% deposit is due prior to commencing Designer By Your Side services. You will receive an email every Friday with an update on any work that has been completed for your project. You will also receive bi-weekly invoices for services where we will apply the necessary amount of your retainer when payment is due.
If more time is required for further services, we offer the option to add additional 10 hour blocks as needed.
More information regarding our terms and conditions for billing is in our contract, which we will review with you prior to us getting started.
